Chasing A Dream

OK. I'm not sure how many of you are watching this ESPN's Dream Job, but regardless, the statement I'm about to make may shock you that know me.

I agree with management.

Al Jaffe, VP of Talent for ESPN and the man in charge of hiring all the anchors, continues to be the only judge that's
A. Giving the dreamers constructive criticism that they can utilize, and
B. Nipping their egos in the bud.

Speaking as a TV professional for the last 4 years, that job they're vying for isn't all that dreamy. There's a ridiculous amount of work involved, and the copycat, comedic, "look-at-me" attitude has to stop if they want to be taken seriously.

With that, so far I like Zachariah, Kelly, and Aaron with the slight edge going to Kelly. On that note, I really believe if Zach cleans up this look, he's by far the most talented.

Finally, my two cents: Make it fun, but don't make an ass of yourself.
