Create an About Me page // Get a Free Gift

If you're in the business of making friends and influencing people, you know how important it is to have your business cards on you at all times.

What about a business card for your personal brand identity? Have you thought about that?

Neither did I. Moreover, I'm involved in a plethora of social networking sites (Twitter, Facebook, Linked In, you name it...I'm on it.) So, when I discovered that I could make an catch all landing page for all my networks with my Google profile, it was a no-brainer. Now, I have somewhere I can point to if visitors of my sites want to learn more about me.

Using Gmail as my primary email service didn't hurt either.

The best part: By creating my Google profile, I could also sign up for a pretty cool gift: 25 Google Profile "business" cards for FREE. No strings attached. Needless to say...I'm a sucker for all things geek chic.

Does it get any geekier than this?

OK, I'm admit. It's pretty geeky..but it's cool, too.

Anyway, I've 25 of these bad boys headed to my house in the next week...and you can, too.






Here's how:

1. Create a Google profile. It's simple to do..and if you're always using any of their limitless services (Gmail, iGoogle, Reader, etc) the profile thing is even easier.
2. When you're done, you'll see a link at the top of your profile page asking if you want Google cards for FREE. Click on that puppy.
3. Follow the simple instructions. All you are required to do is create an account on iPrint.com.
4. That's it. The cards ship to your address in 12 business days. Cool, huh?
