Wearin' Out The Panic Button

Well, the Chiefs are 0-2 after losing to the Panthers at Arrowhead, breaking a 13-game regular season home winning streak in the process.

Which means only one thing...Suicide watch for Chief Fans.

Checking out the message boards at the Kansas City Star after losing to Denver was scary enough, but losing to the Panthers at home? Katy, Bar the door!

Whatever will the poor Chief Fan do, after this horrible turn of events?

I myself am commonly accused of rooting for the Chiefs. This is not in dispute. I too am frustrated with the team's current play in the face of a new old face leading the defense and a the league's most explosive offense reduced to a shadow of its former self.

What can I do about it? Nothing. I'm cool with that.

I have all the confidence in the world that Coach Vermeil can right this rocky ship and get us to the playoffs.

I'm more sick of the fucking bandwagon fans that piss and moan about the state of the team and how they're sick of it all.

If that's the case, jump. The less on the bandwagon, the better. I've been a fan of the Chiefs for as long as I can remember and my family have been season ticket holders since 1989, well before the boys in KC were a powerhouse. I know about losing and winning with this team...and I know about loyalty.

This experience can actually make the team stronger. That starts with Houston @ Arrowhead next week.

I know I'll be watching next Sunday.
